Monique Zurrer

Physiotherapist

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) – Federation University

Australian Physiotherapy Association – Member

After graduating from Federation University in November 2025 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), Monique transitioned into a Physiotherapist role at Through Life Physio in January 2026. She is passionate about treating women’s health, neurological, pediatric and musculoskeletal conditions.

With a strong sporting background, Monique spent eight years competing in swimming. While studying, she worked as a learn-to-swim instructor for four years, teaching children aged 3–12 essential water safety skills and swimming techniques. This experience sparked her passion for aquatic physiotherapy, which she now integrates into her hydrotherapy work.

Monique takes a patient-centred approach to care, working collaboratively with patients to develop shared and meaningful treatment goals. She is passionate about empowering individuals to continue participating in the physical activities and sports they enjoy through education and tailored guidance. Monique also has a strong understanding of exercise-based and hydrotherapy rehabilitation.

Outside of work and studying Monique enjoys being active playing hockey for Waverley Hockey Club, swimming and participating in fun runs. She also loves going out with her friends to find new restaurants and places to eat.

The Through Life Team is here to look after all your physiotherapy, rehabilitation and exercise needs.

We acknowledge the Gunaikurnai People and the Bunurong People as the traditional owners of the lands on which we crawl, walk, run and jump and the traditional owners of the waters where we swim. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and future - for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of their community.
