Edan joined the Through Life Physiotherapy team in 2026 as an Allied Health Assistant while completing the final year of his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at Federation University Australia, graduating in November 2026. He was drawn to the clinic's holistic, patient-centred approach and the breadth of its services, and is eager to develop his clinical skills before transitioning into a Physiotherapist role.
Rather than settling on a single area early, Edan is curious across the full scope of physiotherapy. He has a genuine interest in musculoskeletal, paediatric, and neurological conditions, among others, and enjoys the challenge of learning how best to support people of all ages and abilities. He is passionate about helping clients return to the activities and pursuits that matter most to them.
A lifelong athlete, Edan competes across marathon, Hyrox, and triathlon, and simply loves the challenge of endurance sport. His own training and racing give him a real understanding of the physical and mental demands that go into working towards a goal, and a strong appreciation for the role rehabilitation plays along the way.
Edan also brings valuable hands-on experience to the team. As a sports trainer with a Melbourne-based elite youth soccer academy, he has worked closely alongside physiotherapy teams and young players, gaining early exposure to injury management in a high-performance setting. He has also been a lifeguard for much of his life through his work across local leisure centres and aquatic facilities, which has sparked a keen interest in exercise-based and aquatic rehabilitation that he looks forward to developing further at the clinic.
Edan believes in a collaborative approach to care, where clients are supported through education and clear communication to build the confidence and independence to work towards the best version of themselves. He is passionate about helping people overcome the barriers that stop them from participating in the activities they love.
When not working or studying, Edan can be found running, training for his next event, or cheering on his beloved English Soccer team, Arsenal.
