Pilates Teacher Training - Through Life Physiotherapy
Sheryn Cutler brings to the Through Life team a real passion for exercise and group fitness classes. A qualified Secondary School teacher, Sheryn trained as a Fitness Instructor in 2004, specialising in Freestyle Aerobics, and worked in a number of health clubs across Melbourne before establishing her own community fitness classes in whilst living in the Wimmera. Sheryn’s first involvement with Through Life Physiotherapy started with her own journey with chronic pain and injury. She has personally experienced the benefits of physiotherapy as she has undergone numerous one on one consultations, participated in the Clinical Pilates program and participated in Through Life Physio Group Pilates and Fitness classes for many years. Sheryn has thoroughly enjoyed joining the team of physiotherapists who teach our Pilates classes and works tirelessly to expand her professional healthcare knowledge.
Sheryn and her family returned to live in Gippsland to take on her husband’s family dairy farm in 2011. She is mother to two beautiful children and assists on the farm where she can. Sheryn participates in a number of voluntary roles at Warragul Anglican Church, including leading “mainly music” a musical playgroup for pre-schoolers and their caregivers.
A recent personal best in a 10km run is testament to how much physiotherapy has helped Sheryn's recovery from pain and injury and consequently how much she has learnt about her physical health. It is through this personal journey of recovery that she is empowered to help others.
